  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin
  • 1 can (15oz) Diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15oz) Kidney beans

Preparation Steps

  • Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  • Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the chili powder and cumin. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the diced tomatoes and kidney beans. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 30 minutes, or until the chili has thickened.
