  • Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them into halves or quarters.
  • In a bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Let it sit for about 15 minutes to allow the strawberries to release their juices.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture.
  • Serve immediately or chill for later.

Notes

This dessert is best served chilled. You can garnish it with fresh mint leaves or a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
