  • 1 lb Potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 lb Assorted Seafood (shrimp, clams, cod)
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Milk or cream
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, sauté the onion and celery in butter until softened.
  • Add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  • Stir in the seafood and cook until it's opaque and cooked through.
  • Stir in the milk or cream, salt, and pepper. Heat through, and serve hot.

Notes

Garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving. You can also add other vegetables like corn or carrots.
