  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup root beer
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup vanilla ice cream

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • In a bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and root beer.
  • In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the root beer mixture and vanilla ice cream.
  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use vanilla bean ice cream. Garnish with whipped cream and a cherry before serving.
