Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 ounce onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 package fresh cheese ravioli
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a large skillet, cook sausage, onion, and garlic over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbled; drain off any excess grease.
  • Stir in marinara sauce and heat through.
  • Spread a thin layer of the sauce mixture in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Arrange half of the ravioli over the sauce.
  • Spoon half of the remaining sauce mixture over the ravioli.
  • Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the sauce mixture.
  • Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, sauce mixture, and top with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
