  • 6 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches
  • 0.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 recipe pie crust

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine peaches, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix gently.
  • Pour peach mixture into the pie crust.
  • Top with the other pie crust and crimp the edges to seal.
  • Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
