Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, salt, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.
Stir in pecans.
Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust.
Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark corn syrup instead of light corn syrup.
