Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and oil. Beat in eggs, then stir in the vanilla.
Add the pumpkin puree and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
These bars are best served slightly warm.
