Instructions
Preparation Steps
Crush chocolate cookies into fine crumbs. Combine with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust. Top with drained maraschino cherries and chocolate shavings.
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cookies. You can also add a layer of chocolate ganache for extra indulgence.
