Preparation Steps
Peel and chop yams into 1-inch pieces.
In the Instant Pot, combine yams, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Stir to coat yams evenly.
Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes, then allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes.
Manually release any remaining pressure.
Serve warm.
Notes
For extra sweetness, add a drizzle of maple syrup before serving.
