  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

Preparation Steps

  • Peel and chop yams into 1-inch pieces.
  • In the Instant Pot, combine yams, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Stir to coat yams evenly.
  • Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes, then allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes.
  • Manually release any remaining pressure.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

For extra sweetness, add a drizzle of maple syrup before serving.
