  • 0.5 lb Puff Pastry Thawed
  • 0.25 lb Deli Ham Thinly sliced
  • 0.25 lb Swiss Cheese Thinly sliced
  • 1 Egg Beaten, for egg wash

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. If needed, gently roll it out a little thinner.

  • Layer the ham slices over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges. Then, layer the Swiss cheese slices on top of the ham.

  • Starting from one long edge, carefully roll up the puff pastry tightly into a log. Pinch the seam to seal.
  • Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 1-inch thick rounds. Place the rounds cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops of the pastry bites with the beaten egg wash.

  • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.
