  • 1.2 pounds fresh green beans trimmed
  • 10.5 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions divided

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with half of the crispy fried onions, and bake for another 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
  • Top with the remaining crispy fried onions before serving.

Notes

This casserole is best served hot. It can be made ahead of time and reheated.
