  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Heat a lightly greased griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  • Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 0.25 cup for each pancake.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.

Notes
