  • 1 pound Breakfast sausage
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 6 slices English muffins
  • 1 cup Hollandaise sauce

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook sausage and set aside.
  • Grease a casserole dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer half of the sausage in the casserole dish, followed by half of the cheese and half of the sliced English muffins.
  • Pour half of the egg mixture over the layers. Repeat layers.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until eggs are set.
  • Top with hollandaise sauce before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use Gruyere cheese instead of cheddar.
