  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1.5 pound smoked sausage cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 pound new potatoes quartered
  • 2 cups corn on the cob cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • 0.5 cup water

Preparation Steps

  • Add the potatoes and sausage to your crock pot.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and whisk in the Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  • Pour the butter mixture over the sausage and potatoes.
  • Add the corn on the cob and water to the crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.
  • Add the shrimp during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking, or until pink and cooked through.
  • Serve hot, with extra melted butter for dipping if desired.

Notes

This recipe is easily customizable. You can add other seafood like crab legs or mussels, or vegetables like onions or bell peppers.
