  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cold unsalted butter cut into cubes
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine flour, powdered sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Press dough into tart pans.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  • Meanwhile, melt chocolate and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in sugar until dissolved.
  • Whisk in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  • Pour chocolate filling into baked tart shells.
  • Bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until filling is set.
  • Cool completely before serving.
