Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs, then stir in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and cocoa powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
These brownies are best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
