  • 0.25 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 6 hamburger buns Hamburger buns

Preparation Steps

  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess fat.
  • Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
  • Serve the sloppy joe mixture on hamburger buns.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder to the sloppy joe mixture.
