Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Top with cheese, then bacon, then more cheese.
Place the remaining two slices of bread on top, butter-side up.
Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
Slice in half and serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a thin layer of mustard or mayonnaise to the inside of the bread before grilling.
