  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold Potatoes
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 0.25 cup Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Peel and thinly slice potatoes.
  • In a large bowl, combine cream, milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer potatoes in a greased baking dish, pouring cream mixture over each layer.
  • Top with cheddar cheese.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of nutmeg or garlic powder.
