  • 2.25 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds

  • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast mixture to flour mixture, along with olive oil, and mix until dough forms.
  • Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let rise for 1 hour.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a bagel. Place the bagels in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before air frying (optional).

Notes

These bagels are best served fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
