In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast mixture to flour mixture, along with olive oil, and mix until dough forms.
Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 4 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a bagel. Place the bagels in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before air frying (optional).
