Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and pistachios. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Press half of the dough into the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, chop the chocolate and heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until it simmers. Pour over the chocolate and stir until smooth.
Spread the chocolate ganache over the partially baked crust. Top with the remaining dough. Bake for another 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
